This garden has a stunning location on the John Muir Way overlooking the Firth of Forth with views out over Aberlady Bay.
Originally a field where the owners of nearby Cockenzie House grazed their goats, work to upgrade it started at the Millennium. New paths, the wheelchair ramp and a new gate made by local men from scrap metal were installed. The Herbaceous beds were enlarged and reshaped. The central feature of this garden is the sundial in the form of a boat riding the crest of a wave, again the work of a local stonemason. All the benches have been sponsored by local people.
